Isopropyl alcohol, also known as isopropanol or IPA, is a widely used disinfectant in pharmaceuticals, hospitals, cleanrooms, and medical device manufacturing. Isopropyl Alcohol is an isomer of propyl alcohol with antibacterial properties. While the exact mechanism is not known, it may kill cells by denaturing cell proteins and DNA, interfering with cellular metabolism, and dissolving cell membranes. Glycerol is used as a humectant, and hydrogen peroxide inactivates contaminating bacterial spores.

Apply the product to the palm of one hand, rub hands together, and rub the product over all surfaces of hands and fingers until dry. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer is recommended if soap and water are not available.
