✅ Description:
- Clotrimazole: A broad-spectrum antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to fungal death.
- Betamethasone Dipropionate: A corticosteroid that provides anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, helping reduce redness, swelling, and itching.
This cream is indicated for the topical treatment of inflammatory dermal infections caused by fungi, including:
- Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Tinea corporis (ringworm)

Common/mild: Burning, dry skin (~1.6%), stinging (<1%)
Rare: Paresthesia (1.9%), rash, edema, secondary infection (<1%)
✔️ Dosage & Administration
Apply a sufficient amount of cream to the affected and surrounding areas twice daily (morning and evening).
Duration:
Tinea cruris & Tinea corporis → 2 weeks
Tinea pedis → 4 weeks
Avoid use beyond 4 weeks.
Children <12 years: Safety and effectiveness not established.

Do not use if:
- Hypersensitive to any component of the cream, other corticosteroids, or imidazoles.
- In cases of:
